I’m Hengtai Tian, a 23-year-old from Hebei, China who has been residing in Victoria since 2016. I have a great passion for econometrics.
I’m passionate about playing competitive badminton and enjoying in literature and cinema. I enjoy reading books like “The Art of Impossibility”, “Sapiens”, “The Return of Condor Heroes”, “Gone with the Wind and etc. Some of my favorite directors include Christopher Nolan, Ang Lee, Clint Eastwood, Hirokazu Koreeda, and Steven Spielberg. Some of my favorite movies are Interstellar, The Haunt, Stella(2008), Goodbye Berlin, Faces Places, The Hedgehog, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Pride and Prejudice, Brokeback Mountain, Our Little Sister, Little Forest.
On a more spiritual note, I am much interested in Chinese Taoist and philosophy to improve my spiritual growth, my exploring experiences include balance, ideology, logics, life experiences, personality (NPD ADHD), psychoanalysis, subconscious (Sigmund Freud), inner realm, exploring beaches and hiking, enjoying nature, music, self-cultivation.
